Making Art Cloth with White Oak Leaves
$60.00
Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote: “Nature always wears the colors of the spirit.” In this class we will intuitively explore what those colors are. We will use a bundle and immersion approach with leaves from the Illinois state tree, the beautiful White Oak, to create leaf printed motifs on a natural fabric surface. Zero previous knowledge, skills or experience necessary and all materials and tools will be provided. Sure as the moon, you will take home an 8 1/2 x 11 White Oak leaf art cloth, three smaller art cloth remnants, sampling of dyed string and a swirling of inspiration.
